No meter bridge for me please. Meters buy the faders is what I need. Nothing sticking up at all that can block my speakers or computer screen placement.

6 inch high would be too high and block things for you?

The lower meters are really not well placed. If you have your hands in the faders you do not have complete visual of all the meters.

Yes make them GR meters / send meters

Don't forget to vote on the link I provided. It's the best way for them to see what is wished for.

Yes too high for me. I put my computer monitor back and below desk level and a meter bridge would be completely in the way of that. I do realize that's my specific set up but I do think anything like a meter bridge sticking up across a console isn't optimal anyway, I and most engineers I know have a hard time telling which meter goes with what strip if they are on a bridge like that. I always grad the wrong fader if I use the meter bridge to tell what channel is making noise. Metering by the fader is brilliant. Right where I need it.

Does that happen when the meter bridge is symmetric to the fader position or when like in the example of a meter bridge that was made by YYR123, they were bunched in groups and not symmetric to the faders? There's also the option of placing numbers on top of the meters to match the fader so it would be easier for people.

Personally and I think it's the same with a lot of people, always having your neck cranked up because you have your head looking down to the meters near the faders, will put a strain on your neck, give you headaches and pretty much in the long run make it hell to work, not to mention that it changes how your ears responds to the incoming audio wave (enhancing the high frequencies) and will have you make some compensation to your EQ because of that.
