Micro ATX Builds?
Has anyone built a micro ATX based system that works well with PT8? If so, care to share your specs?
Thanks |

Re: Micro ATX Builds?
I am curious as well, but most Micro-ATX boards use onboard video and that's a problem.

Re: Micro ATX Builds?
Just look for a quality brand name board with a real graphics slot and a real chipset. As long as its using a known working chipset and processor you should be fine.
The single biggest issue with mATX is that the folks that tend to purchase it to save as much money as possible. The lower end of mATX is the manufactures dumping ground of binned parts that didn't meet spec. This is where you see lower front side bus speeds, reduced memory speeds, reduced memory capacity. etc. As long as you spend the money for a premium quality board with a dedicated graphics card you should have any issues that wouldn't show up on a full ATX board.
