Default Working on Pro-Tools W/O the M-BOX

Hey, I just bought a new lap-top (good for me...). I want to take it with me when I travel and work on some projects (mixing only) and NOT have to take my M-Box with me.

Everytime I open pro-Tools, if the M-Box isn't connected, I can't continue...

Can I use Pro-Tools without the M-Box connected?

Thanks,

BT

You must have your Digi hardware connected to run Pro Tools, as PT is not a CoreAudio application. That's the way it works.

If you need more portability than what an MBox can offer, there's http://www.avid.com/US/products/Mbox-2-Micro
