Default installation failed

Hello everyone! I tried to install pro tools first on my pc but at the end of the installation, when everything seems to be fine, it gives me an error message explaining the lack of an "api-win-core-winrt-string- 1-1-0.dll
in my pc it already runs cubase without problems, I have 8 Gb of ram, solid disk, pcie e-mu card, quad core x 3800, s.o. win 7x64
I searched the web for this file to insert it but my antivirus tells me "dangerous page" I tried the installation 3 times but the result is the same as the previous one. has anyone had the same problem?
Thank you for your time

Some things to consider:
1-I'm not sure the current version of PT First is compatible with Windows 7
2-there is a section of the DUC that is specific to PT First(this thread should probably be moved there by one of the moderators)
3-If you want/need Pro Tools, I highly recommend you get the regular version(but not until you have the proper OS). PT First is NOT for serious work.
4-if you don't need Pro Tools, there are several other DAW options that can do what you need(very affordable to free). Some of them include; Cakewalk by Bandcamp(formerly known as SONAR), Audacity, Reaper, Studio One Artist and CuBase(which you already have?)

The latest version of Pro Tools First is not qualified to run on Windows 7.

I would never suggest downloading a single dll file from the internet as most of these sites are not reputable and you are really taking your chances.

The file you mention is part of the Visual C++ Redistributable package, most likely for VS 2015. I would not download it from anywhere other than Microsoft. It is safe to try that if you want. If it doesn't solve your problem, you can just uninstall it.

Like stated above though; PTF is not qualified on Windows 7, so even if it does get you running, you may hit other issues.

8gb ram is only half the required minimum, too.
