Default When screening a surround tv show . . .

Looking for opinions . . .

Typically for a tv mix do you usually screen it in discrete or 4:2:4, and do you do a pass and listen in stereo?

Always QC your mixes in all formats that they be listened in. If your mix is LtRt the check it decoded and not decoded.

cheers

Again (as usual),
I agree w/ Georgia.
Typically, when doing Lt/Rt mixes, I mointor through the decoder (4 ch.) on the big speaks ... and plain vanilla 2 trk (not decoded) on the smalls.
