Plug ins after hardware insert.

Hi, all for some reason I’m not getting my plug ins to work when Insert them after my hardware insert (SSL fusion) my metering plug ins work fine (Youlean Loudness Meter) and (Span) but say for example I’m adding a limiter after the SSL I’m getting visual of the plug-in adding level but nothing it’s happening to the audio. Please help!
