PT11 fix for can't find AUDIO device/ Controller/ personality/Mid.

Hi' this is my updates ;

For Ex Audio Interfaces on win/mac;OS's.

For timing error ; mid problems ; can't find interface or can't load setting of interface selected; ect's ; play back/ recording problems .

Its your OS : Try this go to your OS sound card an disable All your audio interface IOs there.

your sound card is in your control panel

disable each one: outputs an mic inputs that have your interface name on it.

Go to your OS sound card and disable all your audio interfaces ins/out; mic's. then reboot .

This also helps Vst's that use your interfaces IO's

Hi' (2) Mbox3gen (1) m-audio 610 (1) m-audio projectmix.

This fix ; bpm off ; can't fin interface; can't set sample rate ; pops/crack sound; also some vst's had problems that used the interfaces I/Os have occurred here !

My finding is the OS's are not releasing the interface to PT ect's an my i say it's not just Protools this is happening to. but this works

i used
Mbox pro 3gen 8x8 some of our customer used it here
so i have to look at every thing before posting that's why i didn't post this problem
we have had this problem from day one whit other Daw even PT won't see it if you don't do this.
some have had to be return.
I still used it . all daw can have this problem when the OS's don't let go of your Audio interface's
of all type's same thing go's for your vst's that used your interface IO's i found here .

Hello everyone,

I am having similar issues with my midi controller when working with my pt 11.

When trying to go into Midi Studio (pro tools 11.0.1) to add my axiom 25 midi controller device, the following message displays:

"Audio MIDI Setup couldn’t open the MIDI Server so you can’t view or edit your MIDI configurations.
If you recently installed a new MIDI driver, try uninstalling it and then open Audio MIDI Setup again. If Audio MIDI Setup works correctly after that, contact the driver’s manufacturer for further support."

My midi controller works perfectly fine on my PT 9.0.6 and according to m-audio/axiom 25, no drivers are required (I could be wrong). Without the ability to add my device, my pro tools 11 is collecting dust at this point.
