An update,
My Aurora 16 is attached to the core and the 96 I/O is attached to the Accel. With the 96 turned on, the Aurora crackles Turn off the 96 and there is no crackle. Is it safe to say the 96 is the issue? any way of verifying for sure? I'm broke right now so I need to be sure. Thanks

When I had a 96 and used it with a Lynx aurora 16 I would have all kinds of issues. The main one was that PT sometimes just would not see the 96. It was really annoying. I had the Lynx hooked up to the core card and the 96 to an accel card. I also use a UA2192 hooked up via AES to the lynx for clock and monitoring. I had a WC cable direct from the 2192 to the lynx and WC from 2192 direct to the 96. I never got crackles just the 96 not being recognized by PT. If I used the 96 all by itself, PT would see it 100% of the time. Swapping digilink cable didn't help either. I sold the blasted 96 and got another Lynx, using the SAME WC and digilink cable and I never have a problem. I know the guy I sold the 96 too and it works perfectly fine!!! Of course he is ONLY using the 96. So my suggestion is hook up only the 96 and see if you get any crackles then. If you do then its def the 96 that is the issue. If not then its some kind of weird issue between the Lynx and the 96.

Does anyone know if upgrading to a digi 192 with the Aurora 16 fix the issue? Or will I need another Aurora ? Thanks
