Its meant to keep audio levels, well, level...hence the name. This short video gives a good demo.

I thought it was for vocals in a song. So you don't have to ride the faders as much. It's one knob. What is there to know? I just turned it. Ha ha....

but is there a way to clean up my Avid account? For instance, all the Pro Tools 8 and up, mp3 Option, Production Toolkit, etc..... that I will never use again.

you are correct hence its title the demo using just dialog is to more easily demo its effect than vocals buried in a song, so no reason why you couldn't use it on vocals in a song that I can see. I use Waves Vocal Rider at present so I'm hoping this one will give a slightly different flavour...... sometimes it good to think out of the box just like using a guitar stomp box distortion or over drive on vocals to give them a bit of edge you are limited to your mind..... my thoughts are give it a try and see where you end up.

hmmmm I downloaded it seems the whole bundle at 280Mb not the 50Mb plugin... is this what others are receiving?

I do have and sometimes use vocal rider. But I haven't downloaded this one yet, so have no basis to compare. Based on the info page and the video, I'd be more inclined to use it for dialogue in post. I do some work occasionally with video scoring and having a tool like this to help with dialogue might be useful.
