Default Second MIDI Interface

I use Pro Tools MP9 with the Fast Track Ultra sound box and I decided to add a second MIDI interface because I need more than 16 MIDI channels.

I bought the ESI MIDIMATE II but, although it is well recognised in Windows (XP SP3) and also in Pro Tools, not a single MIDI event is send to the outputs.

It looks like this in Pro Tools :

I think MP9 cannot work with other devices than M-Audio's. Does it ?

If somebody could help me, it would be nice.

Thanks
