Default Scrubbing audio in 7.2cs1 freaks out V1

Has anyone experienced trouble with a V1 while scrubbing audio? We just upgraded to 7.2cs1 which I thought was supposed to address V1 problems, but seems to have made them worse. Any fixes or suggestions would be appreciated.

Running OSX 10.4.6 on a dual 1.25Ghz PPC G4. When attempting to scrub audio anywhere in a session, the V1 will jump all the way to the start of the program, or skip and lag excessively.

Are you using the newer V1 or the older one? We've had problems with that before with the old V1s (sometimes related to white flashes, discontinuous timecode, or a load that goes past the end of the tape where timecode keeps running). Usually if you make a clip around the material it'll take care of it. I haven't seen this in cs1, though.

One new problem we've had with 7.2.cs1 is that when you hit play in Protools it'll play but you won't hear any audio, and the status says "waiting for sync". We had the same issue in 6.9 but not in 7.1 or 7.2. It'll maybe happen once every few hours. (We're running 7.2.cs1 on our two man stage, 10.4.6, 2 x dual 2.7GHz PPC)

Howdy!

In Setups-->Peripherals-->Synchronization, what is your preroll set to when working with the V1? I have found that it needs to be 20 frames or locking up is problematic. In v7.1cs8 I could use 15 or even 10 frames and establish a lock consistently.

I had the same problem with old (black panel) V1m but after restart of DOREMI there is another problem, now the video during scrub is skipping and lagging all time just if I scrub in just a little range of timeline it is better. It is unusable. It is the same with new(silver panel) V1m (4.46p firmware)

That is the same problem our editors are having with our old V1's. When scrubbing, the V1 lags and skips. Does anyone know a solution? We are thinking of going back to PT 6.9.2

We are aware of issues with scrubbing and are working on fixes, however I do not have a specific timetable as to when these will be addressed, as there are several contributing factors that are causing the problems.

Pleeeeeease, do it ASAP.
It was working once, so whats the problem with several serial commands? We have purchased the machine control only for this purposes and it is for nothing. What do you recommend for us? Back to version 5.1.3?
