Delay compensation Differs on SC48?
Hi Sheldon,
I have been using a mix rack system for the past couple of weeks and today I loaded my show up on an SC48. I assign all my drum channels to group 1 and group 2 to parallel comp..I then assign an un-used input strip to the LR, group 1 and group 2 to tell the delay compensation to align the two drum groups (I learnt this trick from Robert Scovill while watching a webinar). When i did this on the SC48 the delay compensation would not align the two drum groups so it caused horrible comb filtering and so on.. I'm running D-show 2.8.5 on both machines, delay compensation is on mix and inserts on both boards. It seems to just not see it on the SC48. Is the delay compensation supposed to be different on SC48? Thanks, Zack. |

Hi Zack,
The delay compensation is the same on SC48. Could you send your show file to [email protected] so we can look into this for you? Thanks, -Mike

Happened to me too. My backup vocals hear that comb filtering sound when I use a Reverb plug via an Aux. I had to change Delay Comp to Mix Only.
