Default PPC 9600/200 vs 9600/300or350 with xlr8 G3/333?

Is there a difference in performance when using a 9600/200 upgraded to G3/333 with an xlr8 G3 zif vs a 9600/300 or 350 upgraded with the same xlr8 when running PT? In other words when the xlr8 G3/333 is installed does it matter whether the path is 64bit 50mhz vs 64bit 100mhz or that the L2 cache is 512k vs 1meg?

Are there any sites that have test results for an accelerator card in a 9600/200 vs. 9600/300 or 350?

I looked on xlr8yourmac.com, and although they have several tests they don't seems to test the upgrades in different computers.

(Note: I have gone back to xlr8yourmac.com since writing this message. I found a test that had the same upgrade card in a 9600/350 and a DayStar Genesis clone that is basically a 9500. The cards performed virtually identical. It was hard to tell how it affected specific functions (like scsi, graphics etc.) because each computer had different drives, cards etc. But the CPU and FPU benchmarks were basically the same.)

xlr8 tech support indicates that there is absolutely no difference when using their upgrade in a 9600/200 vs a 9600/300 vs 9600/350.

Cander, Probably not a "difference", but if I'm not mistaken, the 300/350 has a faster internal scsi bus and many little differences that make it run much faster than the 200's...so while the upgrade cards will work without problem on either model, the 300/350's will run faster in any case...

I believe that the diference between the 350/300 and the 200/233 is that the 350/300 used so called "inline-cache" for its processor. It was Apples answer to Motorolas G3. This was just months before Apple killed the whole "Clone-licensing" so they bagged this technology after they took over Powercomputing, since they already had a G3 processor.I believe it was called MACH-something??? As for the internal SCSI I dont think there was a difference the both run at fast(10M) speed. I do believe that they bumped up the system bus speed to 60MHZ though, so that might be the only bennefit over the 50MHZ bus in the 200/233 series.

Some people claim that the 9600/350 upgraded with G3 card has some benefits over a 9600/200 or 233 with the same upgrade. Mainly that the PCI bus is faster. Giving you less -6042 errors. I don't know if this is true, I have heard conflicting reports.
