Default Trident MTA iX 16 channel mic pre?

Has anyone here tried one of these out yet? I'm kind of interested in it, it doesn't seem to be too expensive. Pad, 48v and phase switches on all 16 channels. I'm wondering how they sound. I believe joemeek distributes the trident outboard gear now.
