check R128 offline / measure with WLM while bouncing

how can I measure my mix offline? I have a WLM Plus in my Master-bus and tried to see the levels while bouncing offline, but it didn`t work.

Perhaps your WLM instantiation is on the monitor path and your actually bouncing a mix bus? If the WLM is on the path that's actually being bused it should give you a reading at the end of the offline bounce.

The WLM is in the bus, I bounce and while bouncing, there is no metering at all in the whole session.

you need to bounce your mix, then use WLM as an AudioSuite render on the bounced media to get your measurement. then re-bounce if adjustments are necessary.

I use WLM constantly on the master Mix Bus, and not only does it calculate while offline bouncing, it shows the activity in real time while bouncing. So I'm confused as to why it's not working for you.

I think, Pro Tools should show the meterings while bouncing, independently which plugin is open. But it doesn´t. I mean, I´ve seen this before, but I don´t know where to turn that on.

Or maybe, it´s a generell issue in my settings. I see, that there are multiple problems:
- metering while bouncing
- handle length and "clip by clip" in audio suite don´t work any more
- keyboard setting is "german" in the main settings tab, but ProTools turns my keyboard to USA settings.

Can I trash the prefs anywhere so that ProTools is reset to factory default?

The newest version of WLM does not show the meter during offline bounce. Previous versions did. Not sure what changed.

the problem you are describing sounds a lot like the issue i raised in this thread. i have an open support case with Waves about this. i am only seeing this behavior on my macOS 10.14 machine. my macOS 10.15 does not have this issue. what OS/Waves version are you using?
