Default eLicenser POS Error Message
Hello!

PT 10 is now telling me, "Fils SYNOSACC.DLL could not be located in the Windows system folders."

Do i have to re-install PT, or the iLok?

I would start with the iLok software, but maybe first, do a Sync/Repair on the iLok.

Is this a eLicenser issue or a iLok issue? Just curious as your thread title would seem a bit confusing.

Thanx for the response. How do I do that? I went to iLok.com, and to tha desktop utility, but couldn't find an option to do that.

eLicenser is a different copy protection dongle than iLok. You might have a plug or instrument that's trying to authorize on eLicenser, but the software is somehow corrupt. I believe Steinberg products use eLicenser and in my case the Vienna stuff - VSL and VEP. I'm sure there are several more.

Thanx for the response! I'm on PT 10. It worked on Saturday, and I haven't changed anything since then.

Maybe a .dll file has been corrupted?

You can download and install the latest version of the eLicenser from here: http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html

Maybe that will help to figure out what app/plug is trying to authorize. PT on its own shouldn't be looking for that.

Here's some more information. After I dismiss the POS Erroe Message, I see this:- "Could not complete your request because Access violation occurred, unable to read location: 0x00000004

Sounds like you're having systems issues, i.e. memory failure, disk failure, etc. Maybe time to find a good tech.
