Default new computer

Hi everyone!
Last time I build a computer I was on pro tools 7.4

It got old and was about to buy a new config. As I am quit uncertain about building my own rig, I'd love to have your feedback on my first thoughts.

intel core i9-9900k (lga 1151, 3.60 GHz, 8 core)

4x 16 Go, DDR4, 2666, DIMM 288

mother board: Gigabyte z390 designare (LGA 1151, intel z390, atx)
(I need thunderbolt because I d like to have an apollo x6 as a sound card)

carte graphique: ge force gtx 1650 (4 go) I'd like to have 3 monitors at least

windows 10

well, hope you'll find my config interesting.
thanks in advance for any inputs.

best

hey, thanks for your input!
as far as social distanciation, I am right now in quarantaine, so would be great to have more interaction

I was just wondering about the graphic card, should I go Nvidia at all cost?

I'd seek a motherboard/UEFI/BIOS/OS config that excludes ACPI if at all possible.

When testing my PC (HP OMEN gaming laptop 6 core 32GB tutti-frutti pc) using latencymon, the first bad apple reported is some ACPI driver.

Btw. What approx $ count for your monster.

I think as long as you buy quality brands/models you likely won't have many problems these days, I've been finding that PT is less picky than it used to be.

For example, I'm running Ryzen 5 now and it is great!

That said, here's the system requirements for PT, if it is any help: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/c...m-Requirements
