Default Cant play 24 track in 24bit mode

When i try too play 24 tracks in 24 bit mode the system stops and the message "dae could not complete this request disk may be too slow...etc" . The problem occures on both internal and external scsi disk which is very fast . The problem do not occure in 16 bit mode .I hav 0.1 % fragmented files on both disks and no corrupted files . I have tryed to increase dae buffer size on different levels and increasing dae memory . Nothing helps !! . In 24 bit mode the digi 001 only play back 18 tracks and nothing more .
My system is G4 350mhz , 320mb ram ,seagate barracuda 17 gb scsi disk .

Do anyone have the same problem .What is the best setting for my computer ??

Thanks for all help !!!

-What SCSI card are you using?

-What format utility did you use to initialize your audiodrive(s)?

-What version of Pro Tools are you running?

-Adaptec 2930 SCSI cards are not supported with G4 computers. For a list of supported devices, please go to:

http://www.digidesign.com/compato/001g4pci.html

-FWB HDT is no longer supported with Pro Tools. Backup and reinitialize your SCSI drive(s) with ATTO ExpressPro-Tools v2.3.2. This software is located on your PT LE 5.0.1 CD-ROM. All ATA drives should be initialized with Apple Drive Setup.
