Upgrading to 10.4 - Tiger - USB Timeouts
Hi All,
I have just upgraded to Tiger 10.4 and PT LE 6.9.2. Since then I keep having Pro Tools stop mid session (or at random points) saying the CPU is overloaded. I have a dual processor 2.0Ghz G5 with 1Gb RAM. I have adjusted the playback settings increasing the CPU max to 99% (although I have also tried all the way down to 70%) I have also upped H/W Buffer to 1024 and the DAE to 8. Nothing, any combination of the above, seems to make any difference what so ever. I have checked disk permissions as well. Any ideas gratefully received. Rob |
