Probably worth looking up the CPU usage, especially for some of these newer plugins. Depending what hardware you have you might find you’re out of chips pretty quickly.

1176 classic limiter collection is a must ...(The whole analogue classics bundle is on offer right now @ about 1/5 normal price and includes all the greats)

The price you see on the bundle reflects discounts given due to portions of the bundle you already own. For example, the price shown for me is $449 because I own the Fairchild, and brings mine down to 1/2 of normal price.

Or did I not understand your post correctly?

So they're doing a promotion where you get Neve, API, SSL and 600 series plugs free so I took the plunge.

I can choose three free plugs with the bundle I bought. I really want the A-800 and/or the Ampex (I'm going to AB them and decide) what other plugs would you choose? I'm thinking of grabbing the more expensive ones that I think I'll want asn freebies.
You bought the bundle that includes the Neve, Api, SSL and 600 for free, and then the extra Custom 3-pack on top of that? If so, I'd lean heavily towards the Reverbs mention by others as 1 or 2 of the additional plugs. Same for the tape.

I'm thinking of doing that same deal. I've got the Studer 800 already, but not the Ampex. That one will find it's way onto the list. However, I have all those Unison plugs in the offering, so I have to choose from a limited subset of the rest. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't already own some of the gems in the list. (like the Helios, Lexicon 224)

Ahh forgot the deal with the api ssl neve and 610. The u get the analog classic legacies.
So then definitely get the lexicon 480l

Then the ssl g comp or the master desk for the master buss

Then chandler eq or Manley voxbox or Manley passive.

I had one of those, "how is he getting that price???" moments before I remembered they did that. I think it's pretty nifty that they do that dynamic bundle adjustments thing, too. I might have some additional Softube and Izotope if they did. Alas.

EMT140 reverb is on every one of my sessions. It’s a really great plate and has built in eq so you can do the band limiting thing with it.

These two plugs alone make a HUGE difference in a mix, often making it so you need less EQ/Dyn in general. It's amazing how much of ITB mixing is spent trying to recreate what analog has always done for us naturally.

The Helios channelstrip is another standout and one of our top selling plugins.

The new 480 is blowing people's minds.

Whatever you choose, you're going to love them!! Congrats!
Thanks! I actually chose the Studer, Ampex and new Lexicon.

The UAD guy says that cause you are going to be a very happy camper. Good choices but soon expect to be making more purchases
