Default no sound on input monitoring

I have been using LE 7.0 for about two years with an Mbox2. I just switched to a Digi 002. I cannot hear the input through the monitors when recording, I get a signal and can see the meters moving when I enable recording on a track. The recording does occur and I can hear it on playback. I just can't hear any input when I monitor the recording. I had no problem with is on the Mbox.
Thanks.

Auto input monitoring: that little green light below the record light to the right of the top transport controls.

Alt+K turns it on and off.

Off=whats on the track plays during playback
On=whats on the input is heard during playback

Default Re: no sound on input monitoring

Thanks for your tip. When I first tried I had the same problem again, when the inout monitoring button was on or off. I hooked up my mbox and I could then monitor. Although, I could hear the inputs even if the green light was on or off. Anyway, I went back to the 002 and had the same monitoring problem, until I did this; I put the 002 into Standalone mode. Switched back to Pro Tools mode and then I could hear the monitoring. I closed the program and opened it up again, it still works. Not sure why it would take all of this to work unless there is something not registering between the 002 and Pro Tools upon booting up. Anway, I appreciate your reply! By the way, what is the difference between Auto Input Monitoring and Input Only Monitoring?
Thanks,
drbones
