Default Serious onging issues...

Despite receiving a second replacement DigiDelivery server, we continue to experience the following problems and are looking for a resolution:

1) Failure to receive all notification emails. It seems somewhere in the range of about 5%-10% are not being delivered. The sender must resend the files and hope the notification comes through on the next attempt. Sometimes it has take upwards of 3 or 4 attempts to receive a notification. All notifications come to the same email account and there is no logical reaon why some arrive and others do not, even from the same senders. Spam filters are not the issue and have been checked and double-checked. We have asked users to 'Save Summary' as a fail-safe, but some senders are reporting that the save window does not pop up when the 'Save Summary' button is clicked in the client.

2) Some files are being converted to empty folders instead of their submitted file types. The result is an empty folder called 'filename.wav' or 'filename.jpg' being included in the delivery rather than the actual file that was sent. The size of the delivery indicates that audio was in fact sent (ex. delivery folder is 1GB+ in size, but there are only one or two actual files inside adding up to like 100MB).

I am also requesting that in future firmware versions, the admin could have access to disable encryption of the files (so the files could be viewed more like a traditional FTP)(this may require SSL security to be enabled?). Also, the admin should also be able to access a copy of the decryption key on the server if the delivery email fails (again, may require SSL security to be enabled?)

Any help would be greatly apprecited. We want to make this system work for us, but if we keep experiencing the above two issues, especially at these rates, we will be forced to look for another method of content submission.

Thanks,
Scott Paradis

I suspect your email service provider is the problem, even if they claim that everything is copacetic.

We have same problem, but only when server-to-server relay enabled. We do not receive _ANY_ notification email. And no relay happens. But after disabling relay - everything's ok.
