Omni Mic Pre input problem

Using a single mic on input 1 or 2 gets a signal on both 1 and 2.

Is this correct or is there a problem?

Please help.

I had even more bizarre issue. a MIC is connected to input 1. nothing else. Pro tools is not running, and I can see the input leds on 1,2,5 and 6 are jumping when I speak to the MIC. I solved it by reseting the OMNI from it's setup menu.

Yeah, I saw this too. A reset fixed it. Wish I'd known this last week; had to abort using the Omni for a recording because of this issue.
