groove clipboard erroe

I am getting an assertion in sessions that were closed with 'groove clipboard' set as the MIDI quantize source. When I re-open the session (and naturally the clipboard is empty) I get the following assertion code:

\code\azuki_Cliff\AlturaPorts\NewFileLibs\Sys\Sys_ FileLoc.cp line89

I am not able to select anything else as the quantize value. I saw a post in the answerbase acknowledging the problem but there was no fix reported. Anyone know of anything? Thanks!
