Default Upgrade Speakers?!?

I’m now thinking it’s time to upgrade my speakers in the studio. I have Yamaha HS8’s at the moment but what would be a good upgrade say in the £1000 ball park

The Presonus Sceptre S6 are some of the best speakers I've heard at any price point. Give them a listen.

A set of Neumann KH120A's will go for just a hair over £1.120,- at Thomann. They are pretty hard to beat at that price point.

Just my 2 cents, but I would wait and save more money as I don't think you may not get your money's worth at $1K. Consider, how well have you "learned" the HS80's? How big is your control room? And is this purchase a replacement, or to add a 2nd set? If you're going to make a change, make sure its for the better and not just different. The Genelec Ones are really good, but a lot more money. Adam A7x might be another option at $1K. I am very happy with my A5x/Sub8 combo and reference it a lot(with Genelec 8050A's as mains). If your room is big enough to warrant a sub, the Presonus T10 is the most potent sub at anywhere near that price.

I have been looking at the Adam A77x

My thinking is they cost 3 times more than the HS8’s so there must be some sort of benefits
