Default Pro Tools Training?

I see a lot of info, but no cost! Anyone have an idea of level 300 certified training cost. And how long is this class. Do I have to buy a house in Nashville.

Since Nashville is closer to me than Miami, I think, I'll start there. My understanding is that it's about $1500 for operator certification if you test out of the 101 course and about $1000.00 more to go for expert certification. Check with Shawn Simpson, the instructor there or check out the weblink below and call them.

Don't waste your time or money. I went to the Los Angeles Recording Workshop and spent a bundle of cash. I learned a lot of theory and some hands on stuff, but looking back, I wish I would have taken that money and bought a PT system. You can teach yourself better than any school.
However, LARW did get me a few wonderful jobs and for that I'm thankful.

You could always go to work in ProAudio at the Guitar Center and have them pay for it. That might not be 300 level though...not sure.

Or get an employer to foot the bill. Anyone who really wants you to work for them (based on your demos) would pay for you if the piece of paper was important to their image.

There is also self paced learning like we offer for the price of a used opcode studio 64. Currently a LE focus, but still helpful.
