Connecting Mbox 2 Pro and Sub
I just copped my Yamaha HS10 Sub Woofer to pair up with my Yamaha HS80's and got a hold of 2 TRS cables completing my 2.1 system.
I plugged the left and right on my sub to my Line Out 1/2 on the back of my mbox 2 and still get a signal but I can't control the volume from the Mbox, only from the sub woofer. My questions are: 1. Did I properly connect my sub woofer to the mbox 2? 2. Do I need a small mixer like to control the 2 monitors and sub? 3. Is there another way of getting the Mbox 2 pro to monitor all 3 other then using the head phone 3/4 jack? |

Re: Connecting Mbox 2 Pro and Sub
Connect your HS10W L/R "in's" to the Mbox Pro monitor outs. Then connect your HS80M's to the sub L/R "out's". The HS80/50m's and the sub act as a single unit as with most 2.1 powered systems. Now your monitor knob will control the volume of all three.

Re: Connecting Mbox 2 Pro and Sub
I just got it connected yesterday. Works like a charm. The bass is sounding much tighter not many standing waves since I brought the room control to -2db.
