Fast Track Ultra sound card setup
I am using Protools 8.05 with a Fast Track Ultra sound card. The sound card comes with with some set up options.
Is it better for me to select "disable host control" on my sound card set up, or is it better to allow the Protools software to set up the buffers etc. |

Re: Fast Track Ultra sound card setup
Best to set the OS Sound Properties to NOT use the Fast Track(as its default playback device) and leave it totally under Pro Tools control. Assuming you have 8.0.5 M-Powered(LE will not work with the Fast Track)
