Default iChat 3 in Tiger

I read that, in a demo by Apple, two people (a producer on the west coast and an editor on the east) were video conferencing in the new iChat. They had a third "guest" that was not a person, but was the output from Final Cut. They were able to look at various edits and choose which they liked, or make edits and see the result immediately. Does anyone know if we'll be able to do this with PT? It would be awesome to be able to collaborate with colleagues that are not within convenient travelling distance. Not that I'd want to do an entire session this way, but to be able to demo different mixes/arrangements instantaneously within a single video conference would change the way that all of us work. Anyone have any info on this capability? Will it only work with Apple products like Final Cut/Logic, or will third party apps work too?
Also, anyone know if this ( Online VST Collaboration )will ever come to PT?

Well, there's always the low-tech way of taking an out of your Digi hardware and running it into your computer (or a mixer leading into the computer, with a mic so you can still talk as the music plays). This works well, at least in audio chats.

if you can do it with FCP i dont see why you couldnt do it with PT. My thoughts are you would need a third computer to be running PT

Are we still limited to iSight to use iChat?
If that is the case too bad since I will never buy iSight.

You've never been limited to just iSight. Just because it is a superior camera to everything out there in the same price range doesn't mean Apple MAKES everyone who want to use iChat buy one.
It is the most convenient device available to use with iChat since it has a built-in mic which can be turned on or off, all the controls for the the camera...almost any webcam, are in iChat prefs and if you need more...buy iGlasses found on http://www.versiontracker.com.
iSight can also be used with Yahoo IM as well as AIM.
