Default control surfaces controling different tracks

I have just upgraded to PT8 from PT7.4

In 7.4 I could create a stereo Instrument samples track, assign
a single midi keyboard to it.

I could do the same with all remaining midi keyboards and instrument tracks.
So that each keyboard would control a different track or plug in with in
the different tracks.

In PT8 all three of my midi keyboards are automatically set up to control all tracks created. So kb1 kb2, and kb3 will control all the tracks created

How Can do single track assignments with my midi keyboards?

running PT-8.03
Mac Pro 2 core duo
2.66GHZ
OS 10.6
9GB RAM
ProjectMix (FW400) TI FW Card
3 - USB-1 midi keyboards
Oxygen-45
KeyRig-45
RADIUM-61

Hello Dave,

If you are in the Edit window, go to View in the top menu, Edit Window Views, and make sure Instruments is checked. By default the Instrument tracks are set to "All" inputs in the Instrument section of the track.

Edit Window Views, and make sure Instruments is checked - YES i did OK.

But nope i still get an issue where all 3 control surface will control only the last track created. no activity on the other channels.
Example set:

Track 1 - Keyboard 1 - channel 1, plugin EXPAND - channel 1
Track 2 - Keyboard 2 - channel 1, plugin EXPAND - channel 1
Track 3 - Keyboard 3 - channel 1, plugin Sonik Synth - channel 1

Note: just below [auto] there is a button marked !:<ALL> when i click on this button it says "no active mix groups"

All keyboards only control track 3's plugin , the other tracks have no control

One more buggy thing, when I lower or raise any one of the slide controls ( volume ) for any of the tracks, they all move at the same.
How can they be made independent.

I must be doing something else wrong.

Please advise

Dave
