Re: ProTools 8 info is up!!!!!
Hi Jack,
No, it won't. Tiger's last version for Pro Tools 7.4 is 10.4.11. After that you have to upgrade to Leopard for any other versions of PT, so 8 is obviously included. Sorry dude, I have to upgrade both too. |

Re: ProTools 8 info is up!!!!!
Slightly OT, but likely relevant to a few folks here...
Does anyone know the current compatibility status between Leopard & SCSI? I couldn't find any info on either ATTO or Apple sites, but have heard they don't play well together, which will make PT8 upgrade a tough choice... or at least a VERY expensive one. Thanks! Warmest Regards, Brian |

Re: ProTools 8 info is up!!!!!
Does anyone know how much like Sibelius the score editing features are in PT8? In particular, things like viewing a concert score but being able to print out transposed instrument parts, the ability to polish the score with dynamics, expression, etc. Maybe that's what "Export To Sibeiuls" is for.
Really I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm hoping someone may have noticed this at AES Thanks |
