My projects won't open???

I'm not sure what I've done... sigh. Anyone help?
I accidently updated Mac OS X to the 10.4.11 thru the automatic update. When I did that, I was still able to open protools and record. However, I wasn't able to bounce my projects to the Desktop like normal. every time I did, it would go thru it's normal process of playback and countdown, and then the project would be no where to be found.

I read thru some of the tips around here and attempted some of the download solutions on here with prebinding and etc. Nothing worked.

I brought out my original software disc and re-installed Mac OS X 10.4.10

Now... I can't even open protools. Can ANYONE HELP??? Please....
I'm on the verge of suicide because I can't work... please... anyone... give me some pointers.

I'd certainly give the pre-binding script a go or the combi installer for OS 10.4.10 (which includes the script) both of which are available via the Digi website.

Also worth trying (in conjunction with the above) is deleting Prefs/DDB's and repairing permissions. Instructions are contained in the troubleshooting thread at the head of this forum.

I did attempt the prebinding. It told me that there was nothing to repair. So I don't know what else to do.
