Hi,

The only way for you upgrade to PTHD10 is upgrading from HD8 to HD10 in Avid Store.

http://shop.avid.com/store/product.d...07527273749472

There's no upgrade from Pro Tools 10 (normal) to HD versions. Only from HD versions to HD versions.

ps: you will not receive HD11 license (it doesn't matter much to you, TDM will not work in 11HD, it's only to inform you, quick story my boss bought this license thinking it will receive 11HD, but he was wrong)

Regards,

At this time I would not recommend investing any money into an older HD system as that technology is dead, no longer supported moving forward, and has several technical limitations compared to what exists now.

Brad is right, but TDM it's still a real reliable system to work everyday.

We at work still use HD2 TDM PCie PTHD8 systems 24/5 (it's a post productions facility) 4 rooms and 2 with HDX PTHD10.

If we someday choose to merge the rooms into HD native and HDX with Pro tools 11HD the speed and workflow it would be huge. But it will cost to much right now. Economy is not helping to make the move.
