Default midi to audio

From Cubase to PT8 ain't so easy...

Where exactly shall I look in the Referance Guide to find the answer for this?

I have a midi track. I want to an audio track, so I can "work" on it in audio.

Thanks guys.

You need to record the audio on an audio track. You didn't say if you are using external synths or VI's.

If VI's, then you need to bus the aux or instrument track (where the plugin is) to an audio track to record it.

External synth, just record onto an audio track..

Your VIs should be on an AUX or Instrument Track, right?

So, just route the output of this track to a free bus, create an audio track and set its input to the same bus, record enable it and... well.. record.
