best b4 and juno softsynths
Hi, guys. I'm trying to find the softsynths with the best b4 and juno emulations. Can you name some of your favorites? Thanks!

Check out some of the free refills at www.propellerheads.se
There's a series called Analog Monsters, which have NNXT patches of the MS20, Juno 60, and a bunch more. I find Reason't Sound Bank to have a very decent B3 sound, but if you want to get the top notch quality, go with Native Instrument's B4.

I recently got the Native Instruments B4, and it is very good. It now goes for around $200 and you get a Farfisa and a couple other organ sounds in there too. You can also use the B4 as a plug-in for any audio track, which is pretty cool.

For re-dick-u-lous Juno sounds... It's really hard to beat the Reaktor 4 Junatik Ensemble. Although Reaktor is SUCH a cpu hog and hard on some display cards, that i usually use Reason--rewired to PT-- to arrange and sequence the parts, then double basses and strings with Junatik once the song is done. actually i use Reaktor Session these days...essentially a Reaktor Light, and a less expensive and better choice if you don't wish to engage in more intricate programming. also, the new SonikSynth 2 plugin (RTAS) is a rompler with an 8GB library that has just about every flavor of analog synth ever made. it comes from the makers of T-Racks and Sampletank, and is in fact uses a heavily enhanced Sampletank engine. that said...it slays Sampletank. and there is new one called Ultra Focus--another 8GB rompler plugin that covers all the vintage instruments ... and the Albino plugin from Linplug which does some really good Juno sounds as well. anyway before i drone on all freakin day... download the demos of SonikSynth2 and Albino and Reaktor and see what you think. most of them give 7 to 14 days before you have to activate/authorize them. as the cliche' goes: let your ears be your guide. good luck- pL 1Ghz Powerbook 512MB-- running PT 6.7LE with M-Box linked via MIDI and SPDIF to... dedicated softsynth box--2Ghz AMD Athlon XP 512MB PC2700 w/Digi 001 Card --
