Default Updating Plug-Ins on Windows

I noticed new plugins ('Complete' 18.1) in my master account. I allready use the earlier plugins (like pro-limiter etc) via my HD perpetual subscription in my PT 12.5 / windows 7. Can I just install the new 'Complete' version? Or should I remove the old version first?

Windows isn't always as graceful when updating software, but I believe you can just run the installer to update those plug-ins. Keep in mind that the Avid Complete Plug-In Bundle authorizes more plug-ins than the Pro Tools HD Plan, so make sure you have the correct license/bundle activated.

Hi Jeffro,

I forgot to ask if the bundle after updating to "complete bundle" still works in PT10HD (windows7 X86/win32folders within the aax folder). Otherwise I won't/can't update.

The Complete Plug-In Bundle installer will install 64-bit versions of the plug-ins (the product page specifies "64-bit versions of Pro Tools | First, Pro Tools, or Pro Tools | Ultimate" in the requirements). Technically the licenses in the bundle haven't changed so should authorize older versions. The Downloads section of the plug-in product pages linked from the Complete Plug-In Bundle page should provide many of these if you want to try them.
