Importing markers in Pro Tools 8
Hi there
I am currently working on a voiceover session that requires me to jump between Wavelab LE and Pro Tools 8 LE. I would like to import a rendered .wav file that I have 'marked up' using Wavelab, into Pro Tools, and I need to retain the markers I have made. When I do this in Logic, it offers me the choice of importing the markers I made in Wavelab. Is there a similar function in Pro Tools? The reason being: I need to split up a 2 hour piece of audio into 200 different pieces, based on the marker locations. Logic doesn't seem to offer this function, but I know you can 'export regions as files' in PT, which is what I need to do. Thanks in advance. Phil |

Re: Importing markers in Pro Tools 8
Since you can export Marker in a SMF and import it, perhaps Wavelab can export a SMF containing Markers.

Re: Importing markers in Pro Tools 8
The only thing I know of that can translate the markers between the two differing formats is Rail Jon Rogut's Region Synch.
Alas, PC only.
