Problems with installations

Hai,

We have recently installed PT Mix Plus v 4.3.1 on a G3. This is the blue and white G3.
We had installed an Adaptec SCSI card, model no 2940UW and unfortunately the machine doesn't seem to recognise it. We have also installed a 9GB internal SCSI drive that is conected to the Adaptec. The make is Seagate Medalist.

We were not given any drivers with the Adaptec, can you please let me know if I need the drivers for the machine to sense it?

Hi there,

Check if your SCSI Card is an Adaptec power domain 2940 UW. If its not it wont be identified by Mac. And also for Adaptec to be used with PT, you need the Firmvare v.4.1 and Power domain control v. 5.0.1 ( Check the digi compatibility doc. Ask your card provider for these specs.)
