PT 12.4 Max audio track count limited to 22 Tracks???

Hello everyone, I'm having trouble with my track count. Maybe I have never noticed before because I normally would have virtual instruments and auxes.
But I'm getting a dialogue that reads "too many tracks entered for the current ProTools configuration. The maximum value will be substituted."

Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong right off the bat?
I'm running the session at 24/48 in ProTools 12.4 on a mac pro cylinder with Yosemite 10.10.4
Plenty of power and all that

is this something I've just always overlooked and never knew that my track count is limited to 22 audio tracks ?

Ps
I was creating new "track presets" / templates , from a session I've been working on. When I created a new session and imported the tracks I received a message .. And also when I just create a new session and type in the number more than 22 on audio tracks I get that same dialogue ?
