Default how to set up 2 Harddisks and 2 CD-Roms

Hi

I'm planning to set up a new system.
Is it correct that I should install the drives like this:

IDE1: Master: System Drive Slave: DVD-ROM
IDE2: Master: Audio Drive Slave: CD-Writer

Of course, I could buy a external Fire Wire drive for audio.

Not a good idea.....

The slower device (cdrom in your case) will slow down the performance of your harddisk.

Try it like this:

IDE1: master: systemdisk, slave: audiodisk
IDE2: master: CD-writer, slave: DVD-rom
