Default Mbox Plugin count

Has anyone else noticed that the Mbox doesn`t allow for as many plugins. I have an Audio Media III card and the mbox running on the same machine, the AMII running on OS9.0.4 and the Mbox on 9.2.2, same memory configurations, same plugin sets, and the Mbox definately maxes out beforehand, to the point where I have to remove at least one Trueverb. Has anyone else experienced this?
