It's a virtual clip made of a whole bunch of others but on a single track. Like clip groups in PT but they essentially become one clip in MC. Often a scene shot with green screen plus the plate plus whatever else so it becomes just one "brick" on a single track (unlike clip-groups in PT) which is easier to handle when editing. The equivalent of a clip group in PT containing 10 tracks that you can place on a single track like in Reaper. PT seems to fail to read these entirely from the video track in the AAF.

Maybe having the MC editor change one or more of the following MC export AAF settings would help.
1: Reversing their current Pro Tools 10/12 comparability: AAF Edit Protocol selection. 2: Checking the "Include All Video/Data tracks in the sequence" 3: Checking the "Include all Audio Tracks in Sequence" Attached image shows the relevant part of the MC 2019.7 AAF export option dialog. Andrew |
