Default Hard Drive Configuration

Need Configuration Help !!!

I have two hard drive, a WD 40G 7200RPM and a WD 6G 5400RPM.

Should i put the software on a drive and record on the other ?

How should i configure my system, should i put the system and protools on the same drive ?

Is it better to install the system on the slowest drive and record on the fastest one or the inverse ?

Is it better to plug each drive on a different connector or in slave, with the same cord ?

The "scratch disk" should be set on the first or second drive ?

Thank you
