Clip Colors Changing When Dragging
I'm mixing a pro tools session a client sent me, and all of the clips are already colored, just not the way I like them. I put my track presets on the channels which have the colors I like when I mix, but it did not change the clip colors, so I had to adjust them all manually (quick question: is there a way to make them match if they were already colored?). After I colored the clips to match, if I move the tracks vertically up or down in the session the clips change back to their original color [that the client sent]—any idea why?

Re: Clip Colors Changing When Dragging
If you are wanting the clips to default to the color of the track, then in Preferences->Display set the Default Clip Color Coding to Track Color. Then select all the clips on the timeline, open the color palette (making sure it is set to "Clips in Tracks" and click Default.
