Default MBox 3 Pro and Pro Tools 10 Install Question.

I can't seem to find instructions for installing PT 10 and an MBox 3 Pro.

Do I install the Software first then the MBox Driver?

Do I install the driver without the MBox connected and then reboot with the MBox connected?

What is the appropriate procedure?

Thanks

It supposedly doesn't matter which you install first. It's a different story with PT 9 I think. You should install the Mbox without it being connected, then have it connected when you reboot. Not much documentation available for some of these things. I still don't even know how to use the Mbox Control Panel.

As someone who performs many installations every month for customers, as a general rule of thumb I typically install software first (including the latest updates) without the hardware connected, then restart with the hardware connected. Things tend to go a lot smoother that way.
