Help! 003r 1394 blinking light PT9 cant find my 003

Wondering if anyone can help. I have spent the last 3 days trouble shooting this.

Upgraded to Windows 7 - clean install 32 bit
Full PT9 software install and the drivers

003r Host 1394 light starts blinking halfway through my boot.
Every once in a while it lights up and I can boot PT9. (So I know it works)

Windows 7 -32bit
I have made all Pro Tools Optimizations

I tried updating the firmware but I do not believe I was successful.
I also swapped Firewire inputs on both my PC and the 003.

I have uninstalled PT9 once or twice and reinstalled (FULL)
Same thing with the drivers.

I am at a loss. I get Pro Tools to launch 1 of 25 times.
Once loaded it cannot "find my AISO" even thought 003 FW003 is clearly listed in the preferences.

Is the blinking Host 1394 light a Firmware issue?

I tried a upgrade from Pro Tools 8 to Pro Tools 9. Failed! It blew away my drivers for the 003. Install failed.

I did a clean install and still my 003 drivers were not installed.

My Saffire 56 works great except when I try to open a session at 88hz. 44.1hz works great. I have been track for 2 days now.

I downloaded the beta drivers for 003 but I still don't see it in Pro tools 9. I am currently working with my Saffire 56. Zero latency monitoring!! yes!!
