PT10 "Export Selected Tracks as New Session"

I've been waiting for this feature for years, BUT:

-when I choose Pro Tools 7>9 it copies the entire session, and not just the selected tracks.

-when I choose Pro Tools latest version (10), it behaves as expected.

This is a little disappointing, because I want to share parts of my sessions with poor and unenlightened colleagues who haven't yet seen the golden light of version 10...

Are other people seeing this?

I've seen it too. I'm told it's a limitation of the code for the new session format. Disappointing.

a "limitation"? are you saying the behavior is intended?

Sadly, that is my understanding.

Having updated to PT10.2 this problem still remains. Now it copies the entire session for v10PT sessions also (not just legacy sessions)!
