ProTools and Reaper rewire
Hi!
Sorry for my question, but all the solutions I've found on the internet do not work. I want to use Reaper in slave mode (Pro Tools as master). I've tried a thousand times and in different ways but I can not run in rewire mode. My sistem: Win7 64 bit Pro Tools MP9 Reaper 4.26 Is there anyone who can help me? Shane? Thanks in advance. |

Re: ProTools and Reaper rewire
Search for User Name spenner, he has a video tutorial on how to Rewire Reaper into Pro Tools. Also, AFAIK, you need to use the 32 bit version on Reaper.
Cheers,

Re: ProTools and Reaper rewire
Hi Tweed! Thanks mate for your reply.
My computer works on 64 bit. I'm thinking that there is no solution. Thanks anyway! |

Re: ProTools and Reaper rewire
Reaper has a 32 and a 64 bit version. Both will work with or should work with a 64 bit operating system.
Cheers,

Even on a 64 bit OS, only Reaper 32 bit can be ReWired to PT 32 bit. Simply point Reaper ReWire to your 64 bit VI folder and Reaper will bridge the 64 bit VI plugins, allowing access to more RAM. YMMV but I had no issues using Reaper ReWire in this way. Cockos did a great job with the built in bridge. |

On my OSX set it Reaper and Pro Tools plays nice. But can not get the Windows side of things to work.

Re: ProTools and Reaper rewire
Same here, only on Win-7. Have both Reaper 32 and 64 bit. Reaper does not show up and I don't know why?
