Default Avid Artist Mix Diode

Anyone good with circuit boards know what type of diode this is? I knocked one off when I was putting on the new faceplate. I seen about 12 different ones that look like this. I don't want to send it for repair. It goes to one of the channel select button and now when I test it that one doesn't work.

First off... If you have indeed knocked that surface mount diode (SMD) off the circuit board (PCB), you may still need to send it in for repair, as you may have also torn or raised the land off of the PCB.

If you have just knocked the component (SMD) off and the lands are intact (unlikely)... then you could just re-solder the old SMD back on the PCB as there is no reason to believe the component itself is damaged, but you should test it to be sure!

If you don't know how to do any of this... you should send it in for repair, because you may have more damage than you recognize, and the authorized repair center will have a proper testing facility!

Good Luck!
Al
