Crash During Auto-Save?

I'm getting a LOT of crashes happening now during what seems to be an Auto-Save. No warning.. it just locks up for a moment and then POOF, gone.

I'll often end up with another .ptx along side the main one but with random letters instead, for example; "zzppHJFHpsvvPCCX".

Any ideas? I'm trying to write a track right now and can't move forward.

Set auto-save to save every 99 minutes. You should be able to get 99 minutes worth of work done before it crashes.

I WANT to do this. It seems like the solution, but auto-save saves my ass during all the other crashes I still experience.

Working with a lot of VI's. Xfer Records Serum, Waves Codex, ReFx Nexus2 and a bunch of synths and plugs in Patchwork too, Sylenth1 and Cytomics "The Glue".

Any other suggestions?

Press Command+S after every single change you make.

If you have a support/upgrade plan with Avid, open a support case using your Avid Support Code (ASC). Pro Tools v11.x generates crash logs that only Avid can read (encrypted).
